My favourite indulgence is trying new things! There are so many foods that I already love – but there is so much more out there for me to try and fall in love with!

My favourite indulgence is the perfect amalgamation of protein and carbohydrates. Crispy, juicy and hearty yet refined, uniting family and friends in a delicious feast.

My favourite is properly baked cheesecake (none of that light stuff) with a side of vanilla ice cream.

Eating ice cream in bed while watching TV, not so much an indulgence, as it is an every day occurrence…

My favorite indulgence is fresh, seasonal foods from my local farmers market, cooked to perfection and accompanied by whole, gluten-free grains so my tummy doesn’t hurt. 😉

In my books, nothing beats fresh whole crabs stirred fried simply with garlic and spring onion, on an egg noodle base, Cantonese style! (And the freshest of the freshest Tasmanian oysters, au naturel!)

My favourite indulgence is taking the time to shop for the best ingredients and taking my time to good food with my children. Life is so busy most of the time, and cooking helps slow it all down.

My daughter’s chocolate chip meringues – crisp on the outside, melt in the mouth inside. Exquisitely sweet and light as air.
